  3. Hi.
My 12yr old son is Dyslexic and I was wondering if we could pop along to one of your meetings. Are there other boys his age come? He is not keen, but I am hoping to persuade him to just try 1 meeting with me to see if he enjoys it, and to meet others in a similar situation to him.

  4. I am a primary school teacher and I have a Master's degree in SpLD/ Dyslexia at Bath Spa University, which involves academic study and working on placement in a school. As part of my professional practice I delivered specialist lessons teach to two Year Five children with literacy difficulties at St Mary’s Catholic School in Bath. During that placement I planned multisensory, structured , cumulative confidence boosting confidence. Repetion chuncking information plan lessons according to children's interest. essons based on each child's strenghts and weaknesses. Teaching children strategies on how to support themsleves and become independent learners.Throughout the past year I have gained a lot of experience in literacy teaching and understand how to use dyslexia friendly strategies to benefit all learners.
